  • Applying Multiple Transitions still isnt in CS4?

I may be wrong, I just started playing around with the program, but it seems they still havent included the ability to add transitions to a series of cuts at once.

If this is the case, I’m very dissapointed. I mean, from what it looks like, a lot of people want this feature, how could the exclude it from version after version?

I assumed on the website when they said CS4 would allow you to apply effects to numerious clips, that that would be it.

Anyone know if I’m just missing something?

    Thank you.

    Right from the CS4 manual…

To apply one or more effects to more than one clip, first select the clips. Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac OS), each of the desired clips in the Timeline. Then, drag one effect or a selected group of effects to any of the selected clips.

It took me 22 seconds to find this in the manual.

Select multiple clips, make sure the tracks the clips are in are highlighted (video 1, video 2, etc). Goto Sequence>Apply default transitions to selection.
