  • applying motion to nested sequence?

Posted by Baba Goof on August 26, 2006 at 7:04 am

sorry, i know i’ve seen this but haven’t needed to do it till now
and can’t remember how. normally i select a clip on my timeline
and go to the effects tab to apply motion settings to that clip.
whenever i try to do this with a nested sequence (apply motion
to the entire nested sequence) i wind up with the nested sequence
opening it’s original timeline instead of giving me access to it
in my source monitor window and effects tab. what am i doing
wrong here and how do i apply motion to the entire nested sequence?

    thanks,
    BabaG

You need to either select the nested clip and hit the Return key or double click on the nested clip whilst holding down the Option key.
