Apply custom transition to multiple clips
Hey everyone, I know this has to have been discussed before, but I could not find the answer in my search.
I just need to apply a custom dissolve to every clip in the timeline.
I know you can set the transition as a “Default Effect” and then apply that effect, by selecting all the clips and hitting CTRL + D. However, this merely applies a generic crossfade to all clips when I need a crossfade that is a specific length.
Is there a way to copy+paste a specific dissolve of a specific length to all clips?
Again, sorry if this has been covered before.

To change the duration of transitions in Adobe Premiere Pro, follow these steps:
- Go to “Edit” > “Preferences” > “Timeline” (Windows) or “Premiere Pro” > “Preferences” > “Timeline” (Mac).
- Under the “Video Transition Default Duration” section, set the duration to your desired length.
This will ensure that the default transition, or any transition you drag and drop from the Effects panel, will use this specified duration.
