Apple Website updates shipping…
The shiiping estimate for FCP 5 nows staes ‘1-2 Business Days’ and ‘1-3 Business Days’ for the upgrade. I guess we should have it by the end of this week.

Received an email that my upgrade shipped today, Monday 16th, and estimated delivery is Wednesday the 18th.
I also noted on the fedex tracking that the package weighs 17.3 lbs.! -
According to the Apple stores here in LA May 18th is the expected release date.
What happened to that rumor last weekend implying FCP 5 would be available? Was this a joke or did anyone actually find FCP 5 somewhere?

I got my shipment email too. I imagine that there are quite a few discs included, along with the manuals etc..
In the product requirements section for the Final Cut Studio package, it says you need 41GB of space for all the loops and templates!
That’s a lot of extra stuff!
