    Hi All,

I just looked in FCP and was surprised to find that the Uncompressed 1920×1080 422 Codec is missing.
I have a Quicktime File in “AJA Kona 3 1920×1080 Codec” and my Editor needs the Apple Uncompressed 1920×1080 422 version.

I’m using FCP 6.01 and Quicktime Version 7.2.0
I’m on a Macbook Pro, and earlier I had Downloaded and installed the Kona Drivers to get their Codecs.. I’m wondering whether in Installing the Kona Codec, somehow the Apple ones got deleted…?

Any idea how I can get FCP to show the Apple Uncomp. codec?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards,
    Rajnesh

Are you looking for Apple ProRes 422 1920×1080 60i 48 kHz or Uncompressed 10-bit NTSC 48 kHz?

Not the ProRes… The Editor didn’t want that.
Isn’t there an Apple Uncompressed 1920×1080 422 Code? (I can see that the Uncompressed NTSC is there.. but that’s not what I need).

    regards,

The only Apple labeled settings are Pro Res.

Kona and BM use the same 10b Unc Apple codecs. If you have a Kona installed you won’t find ” Apple 10b Unc 1920×1080 422″ but “KONA 10b Unc 1920×1080”

[rdomalpalli] “Isn’t there an Apple Uncompressed 1920×1080 422 Code”

If you got the Apple Unc 10b (PAL or NTSC) as an option for exporting or capturing, is because you got the codec installed. What you has lost are the “Easy setups”. Reinstall the KONA or Just duplicate the setting (capture or sequence) and customize it.
If you don’t see any option about to capture or export in Apple 10b Unc, you may had lost the 10bUnc codec. That sounds strange. Download the last Pro Applications Support to get them back.
