I know there have been a few trying to get ProRes footage out of FCP and into Vegas. This reader works great and the prores files open great in Vegas.

I downloaded it, but how do you use it with Vegas?

If you have the latest version of QT for Windows, it allows you to read ProRes files from FCP on the Vegas timeline. Very handy in some cases if someone needs to output HD files from FCP so they can be used in another NLE.
