November 4, 2011 at 10:40 pmCan somebody please help me?
I just bought this as the eBook and the link in the book takes me to a Peachpit page where I can download a 1.3Gb DMG. The files on this disk image are not the ones referred to in the book. They are instead files of interviews of Cival War reenactors. It’s just one folder called ‘Reenactors Event Media’. I REALLY want to get going on this book tonight and this is infuriating.
Can anybody suggest what might be going wrong or provide me with the link they have in their book?
I’ve emailed Peachpit but I really doubt I’ll have a reply today.

April 20, 2012 at 6:52 pmHello
Thanks for your post
I am having problems with the apts files that i downloaded from peach pit.
I did everything right, i followed the link download all, and the media files work fine.the problem is that the fcp x won’t recognize the APTS FCP image as a virtual hard drive,
and also when i try opening the project files this appears “The document “CurrentVersion.fcpproject” could not be opened”
does anyone know how to fix this
I appreciate any help
thanks

June 28, 2012 at 11:00 amHi Gerry,
Followed exactly as mentioned in your post. Downloaded the files twice. Still no luck. I can only see mounted drive and lesson folders in FCPX. Can’t see any content under the lesson folders. I’ve been struggling with this for more than 3/4 days..
Thanks in advance for help!
Best
