Apple movie trailers h264 settings
What settings are they using to make the Apple trailers playback so smoothly?
I cant seem to get my HD comps to playback with out jerkyness.
I’m rendering out 1920x1080p QT Mov animation out of after effects then using quicktime to encode it as h264.
But still my quad G5 seems to be choking on it.
Why would something stream from apple but not of my hard drive?Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Apple use an average data rate of something between 1MB and 3MB (Megabytes) a second for the 1080 clips.
They’ll likely use something more specialised for encoding than just Quicktime export.
The guys doing the encoding get access to the highest quality source available.
If your content is not playing back smoothing on your Mac, it’s likely that your datarate is way too high or the footage is madly visually complicated, or both.
It’s a London thing.
