apple motion swap image for text
Hi,
I have a dilemma,
I created an animation using multiple question marks in Apple Motion,
Each one has a simple move behavior attached to it.
I am now trying to swap out the text for an image of a question mark that is not available as a font.
I tried to drag and drop the image onto the layer but apparently I can’t swap a text layer with an image.
How can I copy all of the text layer attributes (position, scale and motion etc.) to the image layer without having to re-animate each layer?
is it even possible?

If you created keyframes to say the Position: Select the text layer. Hit F1 to open up the Properties tab. Click on Position (It will turn a darker gray) and drag it onto your image. The position key frames will be applied to the image.
Behaviors can be copied and pasted onto an image.
