Long division? I vaguely remember something wrong with the P3. Regardless, my old roomate had one and I can tell you it blew away the G3 at my work at the time. Intel and AMD make solid products. I think the switch will be great. Instead using a measly 1.8% market share to pay IBM to play catch up every 3 years, Apple can reap the benefits of the latest processor technology that Intel will already be developing for the PC market. It will mean faster and less expensive Macs for us.
