    I agree, Jeff.

    If you’ve ever seen HDR playing next to standard HD (or 4k) the difference is IMMEDIATELY apparent.
    That difference WILL sell more flat panels. Kinda like the diff between Standard def 4:3 and HD 16:9.

    You immediately knew the HD was better. You can see it.

    Plain old 4k is NOT much different beyond 9 feet. Adding HDR means you can see the diff from across the street. Your neighbors will see the difference, and you don’t even need to invite them in!

    Conclusion: HDR WILL drive 4K conversion. 8K is still a parlor trick.

    Just my thoughts.
