Apple Compressor Question..Need to transfer P2 to AIC
Can I use Apple Compressor to transfer P2 media to Apple Intermediate Format for use on Final Cut Express? I shot something for a friend that said that had Final Cut Pro…turns out he has Express. Thanks in advance. If so, do I put the entire contents folder into the batch?

You first need to import the files into Final Cut Pro…converting the MXF into Quicktime. Then you can take those files into Compressor…or simply Media Manage them to AIC.
Compressor won’t work with the MXF files directly.
