    Apple Compressor failure

    I have had a recent failure with Compressor. The app has been working properly and without warning, it has quit. The app opens, and accepts all normal input until the encode begins. Then the encoding stops and the time remaining changes to

    -:–:–remaining.

    I have looked for Compressor Preferences to trash but did not find that file. I have even re-installed the entire FCP Studio hoping that would correct the problem, but no luck.

    Any thoughts?

    Here’s the Apple doc on dealing with compressor problems
    It includes things like trashing compressor’s prefs. Let us know if it worked:
