  Apple Compressor errors with mp4

  I’m going from FCP 6 to Compressor. My sequence is HDV 1080i60. I’m compressing to mp4. I keep getting strange audio sync issues. Also, certain scenes are visually speeded up. I’ve never seen this before.

  I have tried outputting an FCP reference movie, which looks and plays fine. And dropping that into Compressor, with no success. Still random errors as above.

  I am now working on new iMac i7 with Snow Leopard. That’s the only difference from the many times I’ve done this before on my desktop Mac tower.

  Compressing to H.264 works fine, but the file sizes are bigger and actually don’t seem to look as good for some reason.

  Thoughts?
