  Apple Compressor 3 having problems with 29.97 frame rate

  We have just been made aware of a problem that we may have had for awhile and not noticed.
  We are using Apple Compressor to compress clips with a 29.97 frame rate.
  After being compressed, the frame rate reads 29.98 in quicktime’s info window, and stepping through the clip reveals every other frame is doubled. Bringing the clip into AE the Frame rate reads 15.060 fps. I have just tried several different compressor codecs (H264 and Uncompressed 8-bit), different source clips with different aspect ratios on two different machines and all have this problem. When compressing clips to an even 30fps things work fine.

  Searching the web, and the cow, I can’t find anything about this problem.
  Has anyone else had a problem with Compressor 3 (3.0.5) and 29.97fps?
