  Apple Color crashes on launch w/DVCPRO 1080i 24pA footage

  Workflow:

  Apple 24″IMac, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
  Mac OS 10.6.8
  Memory 6 GB

  External Hard Drives for Video footage

  footage DVCPro 1080i /24pA
  import using Raylight v2.08 (remove Pulldown)

  FCP 6.06
  Audio/Video sequence preset Matrox MXO DVCPRO HD-1080p24
  timeline compressor settings DVCPRO 1080i60 editing timebase 23.98

  Matrox v2.1.9.0004 works fine in FCP but crashes when sent to Apple Color 1.04.

  The workflow has always worked if I am using 720pN /24 footage and has never crashed Apple Color unless I have made the usual mistakes with multi clips or not baking motion etc.

  Apple Color crashes on launch w/ “specific hardware could not be found”.

  I am testing with just one short clip. Have trashed FCP preferences with no success.

  Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
