    Hello everyone,

I have been looking at the recent animation that apple did for their last keynote (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b0IwbM8faA) And I have tried to make it inside After Effects just for practice.

But I can’t figure out how they made the shape lines to follow the dot in the first 10 seconds of the animation. I’ve tried the “write-on” built-in effect but since I ease my position keyframes the brush looks darker as it reaches its final position.
I have also tried the “beam” built in effect and it works for the squares but not for the circles.

So my question is : how do you make a dot that draws a constant line as it moves (with eased keyframes)

    Thank you!
