Apple 10.15.3 and Animation Codec files
Running the latest Mac operating system with the latest version of QuickTime. If I try playing back videos that were compressed using the animation codec QuickTime tells me that it can’t play them back. On the same machine if I open Premiere it both imports them and plays them back. Am I missing something?

32-bit codecs were depreciated in macOS 10.7, and all 32-bit support was removed in macOS 10.15.
Most third-party apps use a custom framework for media, so use VLC instead.
