Hello, I am editing a documentary on Apollo 11. I have 70mm footage (8K) (dpx) from Nasa.
Needless to say things are a little slow with huge file sizes like these.
My goal is to downres and reframe for uhd.
When I try to import as a image sequence the image sequence box is greyed out.
I’ve tried selecting first clip/all clips/ first-last – image sequence box still greyed out.
Sequences are numbered 000001 000002 and so on.
Media Browser does will not even show the .dpx clips just the enclosing folder names
    Any ideas appreciated

    thanks in Advance

First off, selecting the first image should trigger the image sequence option.
I could imagine that the files might have too high of a bitrate for Premiere, which is limited to 16bpc.
