    Hi masters
I have shot and finished a movie recorded in 720p and am ready to burn it on a bluray disc but it just won’t happen.
The length is 75min and every time I try to encode it, at some point of time premiere stops giving this simple and intriguing message “API failure” I’ve tried to search for it but no luck. My soulution was to cut the movie in many parts and encode it bit by bit. It worked.
Now I got a new challenge, in Encore cs3 I put all my clips in the time line and it starts building then stops giving me the error “CODE 6”. It’s making me insane! I’m searching for a solution but no one seems to know.
My pc specs are Windows Vista 64,dual XEON 3ghz, 16 gbram, nvidia quadro fx 4600.
    Please, any light?

Thank you Dan, but I’ve already seen this page that looks like to be the only one talking about the error.
My hard drives aren’t full and i’m not dealing with any quick time files.
My video is in MXF P2 format and I wan’t to encode it in MPEG2 bluray.

If you are sure the scratch disks aren’t full, it could be an installation issue.

Until you are able to fix it, you could try frame serving to Encore.

    Tutorial here.

Thanks Vince, I’ll try that as soon as i can. I’ve watched the video and there is one detail i’d like to know:
In the video he uses the extension .avi Does this have to be the source video format? Because my files are in the MXF format so should i type name.mxf ?
Just another simple question. My footage was shot in progressive 24p mode and i’m encoding to blu-ray ntsc. So in Adobe media encoder, does the framerate have to be 23.976 or 29.97? And should i check the field order to progresive scan?
Thank you very much for the quick response and hope i can solve my problem and in the future, be able to help some one in my situation.
