  APFS (case sensitive) and Creative Cloud

  Fellow editors…I’m leaving this here as a warning. Let my mistake be your learning opportunity.

  I just paved over my primary editor’s hard drive and allowed Catalina (10.15.6) to choose the flavor of APFS for me. The default seems to be the case sensitive option. As it turns out, Adobe’s Creative Cloud and all of its apps will not work on a drive formatted that way.

  If you find yourself in a situation where you have to reformat your system drive, make sure you choose the bland, non-case sensitive APFS version if you’re going to use APFS.
