Hey, I used this one scene with an effect and used alot of keyframes right, but I decided I wanted to use a different scene, so is there anyway I could apply the effect to a new clip and paste all the keyframes from the old one?

Also, I used a camera to cause movement with the objects, but when I add new objects after doing the movement they don’t go into the camera 3D control space, so I was also wondering if I could do the same thing with a camera (copying and pasting it’s keyframes onto a new one)

oh duh! I forgot to change the layer to 3D for the camera one, but I still need to know about the copying and pasting keyframes for effects lol

Here’s a timesaver if you’re doing lots of replacing:

    – duplicate your comp, open it to the timeline and select the layer you’d like to replace
    – drag the new footage to the timeline while holding alt/option and drop it on the target layer

Keyframes, effects, masks, and overall good karma will all stay intact on the new footage.

    Rugged yet hygienic.
