Anyone out there using Cinescore? How satisfied are you with it? How does it compare to SmartSound? What are you using it for? I will be doing an oral history project (interviewing on video people who worked in an old state psychiatric hospital, interweaving pictures from the old hospital, etc.), and I am wondering if this would be good background music, or if I would do better to look for some other kind of royalty-free music. TIA, Jim

I have both Cinescore and Smart Sound and prefer Cinescore. I have used it on a couple projects and it fit perfectly. Variations are more true variations and not just looped ‘parts’. You’ll like it.

Very happy with it. Can’t compare it to SS since I haven’t tried that one. Use it for most of my projects.

I have used both—Cinescore would be a great product if they would release more and higher quality themes—Everything sounds so synthetic.
