Activity Forums DVD Authoring anyone use roxio toast ?

    everytime i try to burn a disc it is coming out 16×9
    i can’t find anyway to fix this.

    i’m using a fcp quicktime file to make the burn…but i do this all the time !

    I use it to burn the video_ts folder but I wouldn’t rely on it
    for creating a dvd from video.

    Actually, Toast is great for making DVDs from video sources — that is, if you don’t happen to mind that only about 40% of the people you send them to will be able to play them. Okay, maybe the DVDs aren’t quite that incompatible, but I assure you, the discs encoded and then burned using Toast simply cannot be relied upon. You can quote me, and if Roxio wants to sue me… bring it on.

    well so far i haven’t had any major problems…
    i usually use toast for quick dailies to my clients or smaller shorts…

    i use dvdsp for the bigger things

    the problem is….
    everytime i make a dvd it is coming out 16×9…and i can’t figure it out !
    and i can’t seem to get in touch with roxio…
