Funny … I thought it was fixed. I just uploaded a video today and … it’s still broken. Who wants to give them a nudge? Maybe we all should.

Never saw the issue during the original thread activity – and I’ve uploaded at least 30 videos the last 60 days and had problems with none of them.
This must be somehow localized to how your accounts are interacting with the Vimeo system – or some glitch on their side.
I’m exporting out of FCP X 10.3.2 with a Sierra 10.12.3 system on a Mid 2015 Retina MBPro with everything current using Safari 10.0.3 build 12602.4.8
When I auto-upload directly from my storyline – all the metadata shows up properly.

Hate to say it, but… same here. Even just uploaded a LONG, random clip to test. No problem. LONG because I’ve ironically been having issues with YouTube lately, getting -1001 errors and incomplete uploads on 3+ minute clips. Never had it before. I’m left having to upload manually, which works fine, but is extremely annoying, since I obviously lose any and all metadata aside from the name.

This problem is decidedly at an individual level. My export from FCPX to Vimeo vs. yours, Robin. As to the cause, that’s above my pay grade. Any thoughts on what I, or anyone else with the problem might try to fix this would be appreciated.

OK, today I got a reply from one of the Vimeo support people. Guess what? We are back where we started when “Terry Maday” first reported this problem:
“Our engineers have done testing around this issue and from what we can tell it’s a bug on Apple’s implementation of our API. We have reached out to our contacts at Apple for updates, but at the moment we have no news to share. Our apologies for any inconvenience this causes you!”
Hey Jeremy, does your status as a forum leader here carry any weight with Apple or Vimeo? This is just plain silly.

Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately, I have no more sway than any one else. I am a mere mortal.
After checking the thread, there’s more people that have this issue. It weird that this would be an Apple problem if some work and some don’t, and everything points to working, including the proper file name in the activity window while being uploaded. I don’t doubt this is a difficult issue to chase, but Vimeo has not reached out like they said they would.
