April 18, 2013 at 11:54 amYep, not much happened except support for the new hardware (which of course is great). Have been working with it for a couple of weeks without (new) issues.

April 18, 2013 at 4:21 pmI was hoping to see the “exiting from RED freeze” bug get fixed. I find myself force quitting M100 daily. It happens on both our MacPro systems.

April 18, 2013 at 8:53 pmWhat version of AJA driver is needed for Suite 2.1.3? I didn’t read anything in the release notes that mentions needing to update. So I installed 2.1.3, it went ok. Launched Media100 and was greeted with:
“Could not start the application because an incompatibility with the AJA hardware driver was detected.”
For AJA, I’m currently using 10.3.2 with KONA LHi. I see v10.4.4 on the AJA website. Is that supported by Suite2.1.3?

April 21, 2013 at 3:21 amI upgraded today on a MacBook Pro and oddly now the app won’t work. It opens but goes straight to the “About” window showing the registration info. All other controls are grayed out and I can’t even close the app without a force-quit. I will say that the “About-Registration” panel was the last thing I had open in my previous version. I was looking at the product ID and unlock code wondering if upgrading would require a new one.
I was running Lion but encountered this issue so afterwards, today I upgraded to Mountain Lion wondering if that had anything to do with it. Sadly, no.

April 21, 2013 at 12:38 pmI don’t know if this is what’s happening in your situation, but I’ve gotten stuck with OpenOffice several times after launching the app and needed to delete the “saved state” information before I could use it again.
In this case, I need to hold OPTION key, go to the GO menu, and select LIBRARY. Then look for the SAVED APPLICATION STATE folder. In there would be a file like org.openoffice.script.savedState that needs deleted.
I’ve not had this ever happen with Media100. But if I did, it would be something I’d try.

April 21, 2013 at 11:12 pmThanks Jaeson.
i did that. it might have helped. not sure. the app still opened the same way but this time i simply clicked in the license key box where the license key was already listed and i just hit enter and the window closed, opening up the rest of the windows and allowing the app to function properly. chances are i am an idiot and that was all i needed to do. =)
