Anyone tried Red 4.0?
I’m always nervous about trying a .0 release of anything. Any early adopters?

OK, I took the plunge. So far I have found only one major bug- when used as a plugin in Final Cut, RED windows can get stuck to the cursor- as you move the cursor, the last window you clicked on moves as well. Also, the scrubable numbers in the input windows can also get stuck to the cursor. This only happens occasionally but is more than annoying. Restarting FCP alleviates the situation but then it comes back. Hopefully it won’t happen too often. At least they fixed the superscript bug.

Chris,
Did you trash your prefs file before you installed RED4? If not do it now and it might aleviate some of those problems.

Yes, I trashed prefs, caches & the previous version. The sticky cursor has not happend today- I’ll let you know if it keeps happening.
