    Hi,

Been doing some digging to work out if Avid of Premier is the best way to go not Apple have assassinated FCP for Pro work (I know we can continue using FCP 7 but what if I need another license). For many of use who have been round for a while Premier is a bit of a dirty word. I do think that the recent versions may be worth consideration and broadcast/prime time ready.

Ive heard lots of good things about Premier Pro 5.5 but would like to here of any problems people have had.

    Regards,
    Ben

Ben, there was a recent tutorial/ blog about an experienced FCP 7 user who changed to Premiere Pro . It had some good observations about similarities and also differences. Might be a good place to start –

Yes, I have seen that article. All very positive. I was hoping for something concentrating more of possible issues people may find. It looks like it would be great for solo use but what about larger projects with multiple editors and round trips/exports to Protools etc.

    Id it really primetime/broadcast ready.
