  • Anyone switch to 64 bit Windows? Any Issues?

I am thinking about switching to a 64 bit version of windows, but want to make sure it is the right move.

I have Adobe Production Studio Premium (AE 7.0, Premiere CS2). What are the main issues with switching? I know my motherboard can handle it, but are there other hardware and software issues as well?

Was it an overall pleasant experience, or no?

    Hello Aza,

I am working on a 64 bit machine with windows xp 64 bit n everything. I have adobe premiere suite CS3 installed on it and its working fine. Not sure about AE 7 but premiere CS2 worked fine when i installed it a while ago.

All things considered i am pretty comfortable with the switch so far. The plugins are working fine too. Hope it works well for you too.

    Take care. Good Day.

    Regards

I run Vista Ultimate 64bit with Production Premium CS3. The only problems I have seem to be wrong settings in the software I ignorantly pick. I have 6gb of memory with a quadcore and I am loving it.
