October 24, 2014 at 4:34 amDave, you jogged my memory with your post. I remember having to do a driver reinstall once before with an update. So I uninstalled and then reinstalled the latest Kona 3 driver. Lo and behold, everything works just fine now. Video output is back. Yay.

October 25, 2014 at 1:36 pmYou’re gonna love this… I was actually able to install DVD Studio Pro 4.1 on Yosemite without any workarounds. When I went to install it on my MacBook Pro with Mavericks I couldn’t use the installers because while the application was universal, the installers were written for PowerPC (the lowest common denominator) and required Rosetta which was dropped with Lion or later so I had to find a Snow Leopard system to install it on and then copy the folders over to my Mavericks system. Because of this I never got around to install it on my Mac Pro. Well… after upgrading my Mac Pro to Yosemite, I decided to install DVD Studio Pro 4.1 and much to my surprise, it installed just fine! I don’t know how, but Yosemite did not complain about needed a PowerPC. Very cool!!! 😉
