  Anyone mixing HDV and DV25 for SD DVD distribution?

  We have a project coming up that will be distributed on SD DVD. The existing footage is archival DV25 (Pana DVX100.) We have access to a Sony ZR-1 HDV camera. This is a one time project, no future use issues.

  I have heard rumors that that HDV footage looks worse then DV25 when down-converted for editing and distribution on SD DVD.

  I would very much like to hear from other editors who have actually mixed HDV and DV25 in the same project.
