Anyone knows how to light like this

does anyone know how can grey gradient background like this can be achieved?

Step 2: hit it with a partly diffused/unfocused spotlight at an angle.
Step 3: profit. -

August 9, 2011 at 8:07 amGenerally a bad idea unless you’re going to key things.
Look at the framing. Any vignette applied to the entire frame will shadow the head of the subject as well as the background.
