  • Anyone know if this specific text animation is possible?

I currently work for a news program, and for their weekly video they have quotes that appear on screen. I want to be able to have the text animate on one letter at a time, but before it does so it cycles through 2 or 3 other letters (that’s kind of the show’s main graphic, when text appears it cycles through various other letters before landing on the correct one).

So basically if they have a quote that says “This will be great”, the text will appear one letter at a time, but each letter will cycle through 2 or 3 other letters first. Does this make sense, and is it possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check out the “Decoder Fade In” text animation preset that ships with Ae.
