i’m wondering if anyone has a guess about how the text and gfx were cooked up ?

The lines with dots was Plexus 2, placing it in 3d space was most likely the camera tracker tool.
The other effects were most likely vector elements that were animated in 3d space and using the depth of field of the 3d camera.

It sure looks like Plexus, but most of this stuff can be achieved with the Connect Layers Script as well.

Some of lines may even be just some keyframed shape layers. The shots are so quick, it wouldn’t be hard to do manually.
