    I am having trouble with my G5 and I’m runnin out of things to try. A few weeks a go I started having problems with the computer locking up. This started to get more and more frequent, and then It got into the habit of shutting down display and keyboard by itself. This usually happened when I would move a window or open a new window. Now it is locking up quite often, and sometimes with only Safari opened, and while I am trying to scroll down. I have run tests for RAM and that’s good, replaced the main HD, rules out application conflict, and I have taken my PCI cards out thinking that it might be a conflict.
    In the machine I have an ATI 9800, Kona2, a raid Controller ATTO, and the usual ethernet card.
    1.5gb RAM, and it is a dual 2mhz.
    Anyone have any thoughts? Please?

    Have you actually pulled the RAM out and test the computer with 1 chip at a time? Sometimes the tests do not tell it like it is.
