motion is nowhere near what animatte in avid is. motion doesnt even have a paint tool, and the bsplines are rather bad, and who wants to be flipping back and forth between apps, someone must have made something by now.

Silhouette roto is top class. Even better than the symphony animatte.

I prefer my old Symphony Animatte. Silhouette is usable & the best out there for FCP, but not as mature.

I love, and miss, Animatte. The closest thing out there are the 16-point, 32-point and 64-point Garbage Mattes by Paul Crisp (google them). They still don’t allow for drawing the shape, which is the big drawback.

But we can’t have everything. But I would like to have that as well.
