  Anyone have a Ryzen 3000 Series (esp. 3900X)? Premiere Question.

  Hi! I have an AMD Threadripper 1950x and I use Markers extensively for my editing work. Basically, the Marker panel is a slideshow. Unusable.

  But on my Core i9 2.3GHz 15″ Macbook Pro, the marker panel works very well, and only a 30-point bump in Cinebench R20 Single Core score. Since it’s such a small points difference, with such a big performance difference, I’m wondering if it’s really about raw performance, or if it’s an AMD/Intel thing.

  I want to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 3900X to mitigate this issue, but wanted to see if anyone out there who already has one can test out the marker window for me. I don’t wanna spend $700+ for new processor/motherboard and have this continue to be an issue lol.
