anyone ever try to edit DNxHD in FCP?
not worried about capturing or laying off to tape…
just wondering if you can actually edit in in FCP in realtime?
(wish this placei m at had a copy of FCP and a decent system so i could just try it myself…)

No. You can’t edit any codecs in RT that aren’t officially supported by the RTExtreme engine.

im not talking about RT effects.
im just talking about being able to play it w/o dropping frames and doing straight cuts.
i realize id have to render dissolves etc…

Hmmm, not sure about that. Maybe someone else has tried it.
