Anyone encounter Geforce 600m series?(Laptop/mobile graphic card)
Today I go to test Acer ACER V3-571G-73614G1T
intel I7 3610 ,Geforce 640m kepler tech,4gb
with sony vegas pro 11 64bit
I have a problem using GPU to render AVC/MP4 format,which it come out an error occured to render mp4 format
I go to Nvidia there is no driver for 600m series, and they claim that will come out soon.
I also check the internal driver come along with Acer is 295.55, it is newer than official Sony Vegas Pro driver.
It just can render using CPU only, even internal intel 4000HD also cannot render AVC format.
It is really sad and disappointed about this.
tommorow I will test using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 is it will using Mercury Engine using GT640m.Anyone test about GT600m series with Sony Vegas Pro 11 64bit yet?

If you are using the MainConcept template, there is a known problem with *some* nVidia cards. The workaround until Vegas or nVidia get it fixed to to encode using GPU only.

I have a post in that I can not see the video files using NVidia GeForce GTX 670M video card in a laptop I just got. I also get an error message that NewBlue Pro Titler does not support my current GPU!!!! See my earlier post about the challenges I am experiencing.

hi, but your problem and I is difference.
for 600 series or 6000 series of Nvidia Geforce and Quadro, Nvidia also dont have their driver.
It very hard for us, Maybe due to Kepler Arch. So Newer Laptop version is still not use for us.But I have a question , My budget is just can go to Gaming Series Laptop, Asus, the entry level of Gaming series using I7 gtx660m.
I want to know, if normal CPU ofcause every pc can work, but i wan to know GTX laptop series using GPU accelerationg is it can work?
