  • anyone else have problems with graphic EQ number of bands?

The first time that I opened up my AUGraphicEQ filter, I had no trouble clicking on “10 bands” in the pop-up menu where you can select either 31 bands or 10 bands. But, at some point, it stopped changing between the two options……all it will give me is 31 bands….if I click on “10 bands”, then the filter appears to keep 31 bands up, and the filter doesn’t work properly. Anybody know why I can’t get to 10 bands?
    Thanks!

I don’t have a solution to the problem you asked, but (and with all due respect) I’d ditch the graphic EQ altogether and start using parametric EQs. You’d be hard pressed catching an audio engineer using a graphic EQ in a recording studio and the same should be true in the editing suite. A parametric EQ does what a graphic EQ can do but much more and with greater precision and control.

Sorry. Probably not the answer you were looking for but maybe it’ll spawn some new insight into your audio editing needs?
