February 1, 2007 at 4:00 amIf you nominate Audition as your default audio editor within Vegas (Options / Preferences / Audio) you can then right click on any audio on the timeline and select “Open in Audio Editor”. This will open Audition and after you make any changes and close Audition, saving your changes, this will now become Take 2 in the Timeline.

February 1, 2007 at 2:47 pmI’ve tried this, but it isn’t doing what you said. It is,however, saving a new wav file. (But no take 2)
I must be missing something here.Any ideas?

February 2, 2007 at 12:34 amThat’s strange – before posting I did this with Cool Edit, the earlier incarnation of Audition and it worked perfectly.
Maybe there’s a setting somewhere … you are choosing Open COPY in Audio Editor rather than the first option?
