Any word on DVCPRO HD on a P2 card to edit in PPro?
Has anyone found a solution to this yet? I know you can caputure it out with an expensive capture card and a DVCPRO HD deck, but the P2 cards will already be “digitized” into files. Anyone know if Cineform is working on a plug-in or something? I’d like to stick with PPro when the HVX200 comes out and since I’m in the market for a new camera by the end of 1st quarter 2006, if the camera’s results are as promising as the specs, I’ll probably be heading in that direction.

This is one place where apple/final cut seem to be well ahead. I don’t know what is with Adobe and Panasonic. There isn’t even a DVCPro50 codec for capturing via firewire. I’m looking at Axio in part because it will handle Pro50.
