  • any ways to instancing procedural texture into multiple channels of a material?

i need to have the same exact texture (procedural) in muultiple channels of a material.
its just that it would be easier than everytime copying and pasting the channel after i make some changes to one of the textures. (maybe via xpresso)

i would appreciate if some have a way to do this.

    thanks

right click on the Texture (the word) for any channel and choose Set Driven from the XPressions part of the menu that appears. Then go the channel you want to have the referenced procedural (or whatever) in it and choose Set Driven from the same XPressions menu. There is also a plugin (Smart Shader – not free) from Tools4D that does the same sort of thing with more power and another by BlackStar called ReferenceShader.
