I’m trying to match a green screened actor with some quite old world war 2 footage which is quite distressed and rather flickery… I know I could easily throw on a wiggle effect on my footage, but that wouldn’t line up.
I thought of moving a somewhat smooth part of the original scene on top of my footage and using blending modes to show the flickering on it and maybe even some grain.. but i’d have to enlarge that a fair bit and is a bit lacking in one shot, and seems a bit intensive when there might be a simpler solution. are there any other ways you’d recommend to go about trying this?
