  Any way to stop After Effects from randomly clearing all of my settings?

  I have a lot of custom settings. A LOT of them. Labels, workspaces, keybinds, etc. And for some reason, every now and then, everything gets randomly reset for no discernible reason, which forces me to commit several hours to restoring everything again from screenshots. Sometimes even in the middle of projects.

  Any idea what’s causing AE to do this, and how to make it stop? I’ve tried syncing my settings up to the cloud from the Edit dropdown in the past, but when I try to sync them again (specifically clicking Download from Cloud when it asks), it doesn’t seem like anything gets restored.
