I’m working on a project I took over from another editor (that’s always FUN!). The material was shot 16:9 Digibeta, but when the source clips were captured, the capture settings were NOT set to 16:9 anamorphic. This isn’t really a problem in the master viewer since I can set the SEQ to 16:9, but the source clips always appear as 4:3. Yes, I can change each clip’s FORMAT property to 16:9 one by agonizing one in the bin, but certainly there must be a way to do this on a global basis, yes?

Anyone know a way around this?

Many thanks in advance . .

In your browser, highlight all of the clips that you want to change, then go over to the anamorphic column and control click on the same line as one of the highlit clips. A dialog box will appear with the choice of yes or no, click yes and you’ll be good to go.

There’s a lot of attributes that can be changed directly from the browser, it’s quite handy

Thanks so much! That did exactly what I wanted.
