    Hello
I am doing a project that is about 1 hour long in 10 chapters.
I plan on doing each chapter as a veg file then nesting the 10 chapters in a master veg file. Any warnings? Is it ok to have different numbers of audio and video tracks ETC. Can I lay titles over the veg files in the master project?
    Thanks
    Brad

Yes. Simply put, Vegas treats the nested .veg file as any other event. No matter how complex your nested .veg file is, it’s only one event on the master project.

Considering the complexity of the project, If I were you I would render the vegas segments to ‘Sony MXF’, as intermediate media.

Nesting doesn’t add any more overhead on the PC. If the OP can edit the individual .veg files, then Vegas will work the same with nested .veg files. They are just another event.

No warnings at all. All your queries are easily possible when Nesting.
Just be aware that it does however require a bit longer render time.

Only warning is that nested projects only support Stereo audio and not 5.1 Surround. So as long as your project is not 5.1 you should be OK.
