  Any render farms for rent?

  I’m working on a short film that involves a lot of AE work, it’s a 1080p HD rez and I currently have 30 second shot with lots of particular layers, 3D layers etc that wants 125 Hours! on a P4 3.2 with 2 GB of RAM.

  I’ve looked at renting some CPU’s ($200-$400) a month and I will need the around 3-4 months, or building my own 2-3 machine render farm (around 2K for decent CPU speed in small boxes).

  However, I cannot find any of the render farm companies that run AE renders, only 3d apps. I assume this is due to plugin issues?

  Any advice other than suck it up and buy some CPUs?
