I have a multicam project in Premiere 2014.1 which has already been cut, and now I have to mix the audio.

There are 5 x audio tracks, one for each person in a round-table discussion.

Does anyone have any recommended strategies for mixing this in Premiere? At the moment, my only idea is to turn down all the ‘volume’ lines on the audio tracks, and manually raise them using keyframes as someone begins to speak.

Perhaps there is a better way to deal with this by exporting to audition?

Are you audio tracks separate from your multicam? If not, I multicam the video but leave the audio tracks separate so that I can adjust the levels.

As for handling multiple tracks of audio, I basically ride the levels on each track, up while talking…down while not.
