anyway, they came out with a firmware update for all the commercial displays, so the VT series can be updated.
but not this one 🙁 -

February 6, 2012 at 5:34 pmNo clue about this power issue. You can turn on an option to power of plasma after some time without activity (still image displayed, screen saver on, no signal detected…)
If you put picture mode in dynamic you can see changing brightness and contrast. I use plasma in cinema mode. it is less bright. But still waiting for probe to arrive and measure display properly.
Any ideas on 8bit or 10bit HMDI? how about other series?
